Special Event

Jonathan Bryan is a truly inspiring young man (13 year old) with severe cerebal palsy.  He is unable to speak but has learnt to communicate with eye movements and a spell board. He is coming to Marlborough to share his story, his faith and his poems. His book  Eye can Write: A memoir of a child’s silent soul emerging is remarkable. Sir Michael Morpurgo writes, ‘A writer of great emotional and intellectual depth …. His words tell us so much about our universal human resilience, our capacity for understanding, our longing to communicate.’   The event is at St Mary’s Church, Marlborough Thursday 28th November 7.30pm and is free.
